When will RIFT: Storm Legion™ be released?
Storm Legion will launch Nov. 13, 2012. Everyone who pre-purchases or pre-orders will enjoy early access to Exodus of the Storm Queen – the first (level-50+) dungeon – before launch.
How do I pre-order the expansion?
The Storm Legion Digital Standard Edition and Digital Infinity Edition are available now for pre-purchase from Trion Worlds. Pre-order is also available from these retailers.
I pre-purchased the Standard Edition (or received it free when purchasing a year of game time). Can I upgrade to the Infinity Edition?
Yes! Upgrade to the Storm Legion Infinity Edition to receive digital collector’s items: Brevanic Portal Generator, Cyclone mount, and Mini Regulos!
What languages will be supported at launch by Trion?
RIFT: Storm Legion will launch in English, French, and German.
When will you reveal more about the expansion?

Can you tell me more about capes?
Capes in Storm Legion will run on Shroud™ technology to flow and hang like real cloth. Unique capes are available to all players who pre-purchase or pre-order. See the full set of pre-order exclusives!
Do I need to own RIFT to play Storm Legion?
Yes, you must own the original game to play the expansion. New players can get the full Storm Legion expansion in addition to the base game and 30 days of game time for just $49.99.
My purchase included the full base game. Can I start playing before Storm Legion launches?
Yes! If you’ve purchased a bundled edition of Storm Legion that includes the full base game, you’ll be able to play immediately to prepare for the coming storm!

Storm Chaser Edition
When will I receive my mount and title?
Both items are delivered via in-game mail to all characters on your account after purchase. All new characters created also receive these items via in-game mail.
When will I be charged if I purchase the Storm Chaser Edition?
You will be charged immediately upon purchase and the game time and items will be added to your account.
Is the Storm Chaser edition a subscription?
No. The Storm Chaser edition includes one year of game time and is not a subscription.
I’m currently a subscriber. How does this work?
After you use the Storm Chaser Edition's year of game time, you will resume your previous subscription plan.
If I purchase the Storm Chaser edition, will I lose my Founder’s subscription plan (or other promotional subscription plan)?
No. Your selected subscription plan resumes once all game time on the account has been consumed.
Will I receive the Storm Chaser Edition if I already have an annual subscription?
No. The Storm Chaser Edition is a separate, limited-time offer.
If I purchase the Storm Chaser Edition, can I upgrade to Infinity Edition?

RIFT® Storm Legion™ BETA BASICS
How do I get invited to the Storm Legion beta?
You’re in! All Trion account holders are invited to our open beta test weekend, “At the Gates of Infinity.” The event runs Friday, Nov. 2 (10 AM PDT) – Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8 AM PST).
Can I participate if I haven’t pre-ordered yet?
Yes, our final beta event is free and open to all account holders.
When does beta start?
Beta is underway! Details for upcoming events will be listed on StormLegion.com/beta as they become available.
GETTING INTO THE BETA
How do I download the beta?
A link to download the RIFT Beta patcher will be available in your account and at StormLegion.com/beta. You will also receive instructions via email. Make sure you have opted-in to receive RIFT emails!
BETA EVENTS
How many beta events will there be? How long will each event run?
We'll be running several beta stress-test events leading up to the worldwide launch of the game. Make sure to bookmark www.StormLegion.com/beta for the latest beta news on dates and durations.
Can I copy my characters to the Beta server?
Yes! At your RIFT Character Selection screen,
- Click “Transfer”
- Click “Copy to PTS”
- Select “Storm Legion” and confirm
INTERNATIONAL
Will EU and Oceanic players be able to participate?
Yes!
Will there be beta events localized in French and German?
No. The RIFT Storm Legion beta will be limited to a single English server, but French and German players are still welcome to join.
FEEDBACK
Are these beta events the only testing that is being done on RIFT Storm Legion?
No. Our alpha server has been up and running for some time and has a very active community of gamers. We have already received a huge amount of feedback and have responded by making changes. We will continue to look to alpha testers to supply us with feedback, as well as gather additional feedback during the closed beta stress tests.
How do I provide feedback during beta?
You can provide feedback in-game by accessing the help menu (the “?” button at the bottom right of the game screen). You will also have access to the RIFT beta forums.
